SUBJECT : Dissemination of Polygraph Reports
1. Reference is made to the attached draft notice relating
to the rescission of Office of Security Directive 64-3 dated 6 April
1964.
25X1A Z. This is to advise that DDS/Personnel
25X1A Security discussed this matter with both Chief, Security
Research Staff and Mr. Howard Osborn, Director of Security. In
effect there are revised procedures and controls relating to the dis-
semination of polygraph reports and these policies are known to the
senior officials directly involved. The Director of Security would
prefer that there be no revision of the Security Directive 64-3.
3. In accordance with our telephonic discussion of 11 August
1972, I would appreciate it iffyouwould _rescind the 1964 Directive
but do not issue any new notice on this same specific subject.
