ATTENTION.
SUBJECT . . Use of Control Markings
1. As you requested, on 31 January 1963, 1 went over
the provisions of with the Area Security Officers at
our regular monthly meeting on 31 January 1963. They were
advised to ascertain whether or not any,confusion existed between
the use ""CI;, Internal Use Only" and "Administrative-Internal Use
Only. "
2. On 4 March 1963, at the next Area Security Officers
meeting, I questioned those present and found no indication that
questions existed within their components as to the use of these
markings.
3. In view of the above, I can see no reason at this time
to recommend the issuance of an instruction which would further
clarify the use of these control markings.
