The Bureau worked a Saturday and Sunday schedule in an attempt to arrive at the most comprehensive coverage from the combined West Coast-Panama lists. Except for AFP, Sunday monitoring was unproductive; with East Coast Bureau agreeing to cover AFP on Sunday, the Sunday shift was dropped. However, a full monitoring effort is made on Saturday: editors and teletype operators are on duty 2100-0530, monitors 1100-0530 .GMT. ~.
