DESCRIPTION OF MATERIAL
Transparency bearing penciled No. 1 was taken approximately half-way
between Port Said and Suez, facing east.
Transparency bearing penciled No. 2 was taken approximately four fifths
of the way from Port Said to Suez, also facing east.
The other two transparencies are forwarded as a matter of interest
and are of a French-built dredging ship which is owned by the
canal company and is a part of its regular equipment. This ship
was built subsequent to 1946.
