Norwegian ship Sunny Prince,, owned by Olaf Pedersen's Rederi A/S Oslo, Norway, while under voyage charter to Woodward & Dickerson, Inc., Philadelphia, Pa., loaded 3100 metric tons of potash in bulk on or about 29 October 1952 at Wismar, East Germany, for delivery to Charleston, South Carolina, and/or Savannah, Georgia. A portion of this cargo was discharged at Charleston and remainder at Savannah as per charter terms. The charter indicated that l brokerage on freight earned was payable to Svend Hansen & Co., Inc., New York City, 1 to Beckmann & Jorgensen, GmbH, Hamburg, Germany, and 3-b% to Carl Bock & Co. "for division with others."
