Six group photographs of some members of a steel delegation from the USSR
have been deposited in CIA Graphics Register. The photographs were taken
when the delegation visited the West Bokaro collieries near Dhanbad, Bihar.
Among the Soviet delegates pictured aces (fnu) Trusov, leader of the
delegation; a hydraulics engineer; two coal specialists; and a female
interpreter. Also pictured is a Soviet assistant trade representative
from the Soviet Trade Representation in Calcutta, who was present during
the visit to the collieries.

According to available information, Aleksey Trusov,
described as the eader'of a Soviet delegation, transited Italy on 23
February 1955 on route from Bombay. Aleksey Trusov, who may be identical
with the (fnu) Trusov mentioned above, is believed possibly to have at-
tended the 7th Pakistan acience Conference in Hyderabad, Pakistan on 17
January 1955.
