The regaining Russians were not assigned to any p~articu].ar department, but apparently were ao~niaeioned to visit and inspect various sections. 4. One of the Soviet officers assigned to Hauptabtoilung Intendantur was Lt. Col. ~~evirov, who was intraduaed to the departr.~ertt personnel by yon :leach and Russian General ~~alcarav. ilevirov was especial]y interested in the management of the vehicle Section of the department. 5o The Saviats appeared to be particularly interested in the matter of security, and Plevirov stated on one occasion that it had Dome to the attention of the SKK that ~nfarr.~ation had leaked out which could on3y have cons from the Abtei- lungen Verschlusasaehen of the PNA.
