OPERATIONS ATTAEHNENT TO THE
PARAGUAY BUREAU MONTHLY REPORT FOR MAY 1981
1. The bureau began receiving Peruvian papers EXTRA and
EL COMERCIO regularly and officially took over coverage
of these publications from Panama Bureau on 16 May. Bureau
also began coverage of Peruvian weeklies MARKA, OIGA, and
CARETAS.
2. With the revised Moscow broadcasts to Latin America,
Bureau has added daily coverage of three new Moscow broadcasts,
totalling 2 and 1/2 hours of coverage daily: Moscow in
Portuguese to Brazil 2300-2400; Moscow in Spanish to
Chile 2330-2400; and Moscow in Spanish to Latin America
0000-0100.
3. Trial subscription to Buenos Aires AMBITO FINANCIERO
began this month.
