Cuban medium wave reception was mostly good with some casts marred by atmospherics. Video reception of Cuban television was mostly good to fair. Of a total of 50 casts, video reception was rated as follows: 22 good, 9 good to fair, 11 fair, 8 fair to poor. Reception of Havana Voice of Cuba in English to North America and the Caribbean was generally good. 2. Reception of Nassau Domestic Service was generally fair with some casts marred by atmospherics. Belize Domestic Service was heard in mostly fair to poor reception with some casts in fair to good reception. 3. Kingston Domestic Service (Radio Jamaica, RJR) had 57 casts unheard out of a total of 66, the rest were heard reception. in poor 4. St Georges Domestic Service (Radio Free Grenada) was heard in generally fair to poor reception with 2 casts unheard. 5. Reception of Santo Domingo Radio Mil on the 1180 frequency was generally poor with 4 casts unheard. 6. Mexico City NOTIMEX experienced 7 days of outages during the month. 7. Bridgetown CANA experienced 3 days of outages and garbling over a period of 5 days during the month. The workshop and storeroom were,r-eorganized during the month. A survey of electronic equipment was conducted and obsolete or surplus items have been either disposed of or transferred. 2. Engineering files and manuals have been reviewed and brought up to date. 3. Maintenance has been carried out on all bureau multicouplers. 4. Repair and maintenance of Extel equipment has been conducted. The following property was turned in to Defense Disposal Office, Truman Annex, NAS, Key West, per authority contained in FBIS message WA301355 of 30 September 1981. A.
