Several hundred men and women who are engaged in the policy making and/or administration of classified and technical information programs in government and industry will be assembled on this occasion to discuss a wide range of topics affecting the National Security. The Seminar will afford you a unique opportunity to present your views to a highly select and knowl- edgeable audience. We appreciate that you carry especially heavy burdens at this time. Nevertheless we hope that you will be able to accept this invitation. Alternatively, we would be happy to hear from your personal representative. We would like to have you make a presentation on the general subject of the impact of Executive Order 12065 on the Agency and especially on its intelligence equities. The presentation would: be at the 'luncheon on Tuesday, May 15, 1979 (about 1 p.m.). Enclosed please find a "Speakers Information Sheet" which I would like to have the 'speaker complete and forward to Mr. Donovan as soon as possible. I have included some background information on the National Classification Management Society in order to better acquaint you with the aims and purposes of this organization. Because of the shortness of time, I am also inclosing additional information concerning the :Seminar and special programs associated with it.
