on Overhead Reconnaissance (COMOR), is circulated for the information
of the United States Intelligence Baard (USIB).
2. It is not contemplated that the attached report will be placed

close of business on Friday, 5 August 1966. In the absence of such a
request, it will be considered for record purposes that USIB "noted"

1. The following is a report on photographic coverage of:
a. 176 priority targets in South China and North Vietnam;
b. Targets in Laos adjacent to the South China border;
c. Targets in the Sino-Indian border area.
South China/North Vietnam
2. A BLUE SPRINGS mission, successfully flown on was 25X1
programmed specifically to cover Mon Cay Complex, Tien Yen Complex, and
the Loc Binh Army Supply Depot. The results of this mission have not yet
been reported. According to field reporting, BLUE TREE missions 25X1
covered Kep Airfield and port facilities at Ben Thuy and Hon Gay, 25X1
3. Tab A shows 62 of the 176 priority targets in South China and
North Vietnam on which satisfactory base line/surveillance coverage has been
obtained since 1 March 1966. During the reporting period, the base line
coverage total remained unchanged. Surveillance coverage was obtained on
seven priority targets by a BLUE SPRINGS mission and four BLUE TREE
missions flown in a previous reporting period.
4. The number of times each target was satisfactorily covered is
shown in Tab A as well as the dates of initial and most recent satisfactory
coverage since 1 March 1966. This information is provided in order to
record the progress in obtaining base line coverage and the frequency of
surveillance of the priority targets in South China and North Vietnam.

been obtained since 1 M ch 1966. The base line coverage total was increased
by two targets as a res t of a BLUE SPRINGS mission on that overflev,25X1
road construction at W Pu Chieh and Tsa Ti Pao in South China. The same
BLUE SPRINGS miss on and four BLUE TREE missions, flown in a previous
reporting period, pr vided surveillance coverage of seven priority targets.
