1. During the eeriod from 20 October to Lovether 1952, the luftnachrichten
Kanerne on !lter Post,eleg in Nickern near .resden was occupied by al)o-t
1,500 troops rearing red-bordered black epaulets. During the evening hours,
all window Of the east wing of the main building and about Sc percent of the
cantonment were lighted while the other -arts of the rain building were
lighted about 30 percent. Individual groups of un to 50 men were on fatigue
duty during the period of observation-1

2. On 8 November, the AdOLCiitler Kaserne on Kurt Fischer Allee was occupied by
shout POO troops wearing black-bordered hl ck epaulets and billeted in the
quar terine 'euildings frcnting Koenigsbruecker Strasse, About 60 troops rearing
black-bordered black epaulets with signal insignia were billeted in the quarter-
ing buildings on Toiler S'trasse. Individual soldiers were seen maintenancing
motor vehicles. Briquettes were being trucked to the assembly hal1.2

No training activity was observed. A small number of troops wear ng black-

5. From 20 ?ctober to 7 November, the AAA emplacements in the clamored area of
the former 100th Grenadier Regiment Kaserne? northeast of Dr Kurt 21scher
jillee was, as :reviusly, cluipped with at least one 76-mw AA gun and
canned by about 60 troops wea lag red-bordered black epaulets. sedan
was seen coming from t e direction of the billets of the NA gun
crews, on 20 October.'
