Penicillin is used in Poland primarily for the needs of the Saint
Joseph Clinic (iclinika` Swiatego Jozefa at the corner of Plater
and Roza Streets in Warsaw. This- hospital ha&Lppriority for all
medicaments and drugs, of which there is a shortage in Poland.
The hospital is under the direct supervision of the Ministry
of Health. Its services are reserved for high government officials
and members of the Communist Party. The hospital is well equipped
and well supplied with all kinds of medicines'&
