This .vessel was completed. and handed over to uussians on 7 Tune 1952. Work
on the vessel appears to have met with satisfaction as a message radioed.from
the Captain, Taroshc huk, thanks the -Werft for its good work which enabled the
ship to have a :cou ..re-''ree journey in spite of heavy storms in the North
Sea (see Appendix. A Work carried out on this ship included the .1 4 installation of boilers and. of two American diesel, engines, each of 450 hp.

Although work on this vessel is being speeded up, the completion date is
not ,`petted for about another year. The fitting of the cabins is now
complete,; also the fitting of the shafts. This vessel. is also to be equipped
with American engines and. transmission..

Work completed on this vessel includes the installation of 4 American type
boilers. The vessel. is row 95% complete and 13 October 1952 is the date
named. for the trial run.

rectangular box:-shaped, blister about 20 cm. in width and
21 cm. 'in height, which circles the ship above the water
line. The blister is said to contain 10 to 12 cables
of an approximate diameter of of 25 mm.

Because of a shortage of xtgterials, no new ship onstructiom has taken place.

Werft which at present.is building refrigerator-fitted loggers (Kuehllogger).

The new shipway No. 2 is now ready, The second half of the shipbuilding hall
is under construction.
6. Miscellaneous
a. On 23 Ju? e. 195= . all fishing boats in Warnem~.rende were forbidden to leave
the '_tarbor. . It is believed that Russian-naval vessels in the vicinity
were having n# ht exercises
As protection against sabotage, VP guards.on all vessels have been
strengthened.
