Beginning 26 (July 1952 seventy-six armored cars manufactured by the Mukden Arsenal were sent from Mukden to Peiping in several shipments. This type of armored car is used for infantry reconnaissance. They are armed with two light machine guns and can carry three or four persons. Maximum production of these armored cars began in September 1951. However9 the arsenal does not produce them in large numbers at the present, time. 2. These armored cars were designed when the Nationalists were in power, and pilot models were manufactured by the Chinese Communists in 1950. The Central Armored Troop Command assigned two Soviet advisers to the Mukden Arsenal at that time to study methods of production, and to make suggestions for improvement. STATE # ARM NAVY # AIR #
