THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
1. A new steel-rolling plant within the Rakosi Works, Csepel was to.start
production in September 1952. The lay-out issimilar to the steel-rolling
mill in Diosgy(Yr, but it is reported to be larger. The plant consists of three
sheds, 250 m. in length, as well as.other workshops and an office building
for the management. Two of the three sheds are to be used for steel rolling
and the third for tube-forming. The machine tools of East German origin have
already arrived.
2. Components for tanks and guns are scheduled for manufacture in this.plant,
which is called Csd~gygr (Tube Factory).
