25X1 CUr _?nat. (1) troop trains mentioned have been previously observed
dispatched from ra_lkenberg to Jueterbog or 1 rewri tzU 25X1
The train from Trebbin probably carried elements of the unidentified signal
25X1 regiment of the Third Gras Iiecz Army e the other train from Forst 2inna
eleuaentsa of the Army headquarters of this axiayp and the third train from
J'aeterbop, cov ponents of the 32nd AID Div (US).
( The troop trains with Wildpark, Brandenburg and Forst Zinna as receiving
25X1 stations were observed
the v c es observed on the rain
25X1 elong to the 34th Arty Div (US) ; this
supports - the previous assumption that caupone ntss of this division have
25X1 returned to Potsd8 ,
(3) The two troop try. ne from 11eust-relitz to Luckenwalde probably carried
artillery units of the 9th Gds Tank Divs. A troop train
25X1 I Iwas pre*iouraly observed trrznsportin:g combined artillery unit of the
1s v.ecz Div to Forst Zirasa on 1 baguet 1952, and therefore it is believed
25X1 thato as from February to April 1952, artillery units of the Second Gds Zfecz
Amy will again be retated for firing practices with live minnhnition to the
Juetexbog troop training grounds.

(5) Another source in the Dobrilugk area had previously reported that sip: 25X1
.troop trains from Weimar and Leipzig allegedly were unloaded in t~e= above
I Ion 29 July 1952,
area between 2b and 27 July 1952; and two eastbound troop trd ns leaving
'1eimar were observed by mother source on 26 July 19524
A troop try. h carrying vehicles r- 5 e.- ong ng 25X1
to the Third Shook Army was observed at the. 'Nittenberg r?t lroad station 0 25X1
Several troop 25X1
r na men ,.oned in the reference reports are con mc in the present
report? The statesarnt by the Soviet lieutenant on the assembling of five
divisions in the Finsterwald.e# #ibrtlugk, 0ppelhamn?=Rueekersdorf and 0cuhra'rx
area is given no credence.- he probably referred to components of five
divisions which participated. in the command -post field exercise.
(6) The troop trains possibly carried elements of the unidentified artillery
battalion of the 12th Gig Tank 111v which returned to Neuruppin. A motor
vehicle of this t; it was observed at 111tengrabow on 24 July 19.52, 1 -1 25X1
4atengrabow were observed last on 8 June 1952.. and returning from . ltengr?abow
to I' eurappin on 22 June 1952, 25X1
(7) It is fairly definitely believe a: a ' ese era ins carr e e. assents of the
unidentified artillery brigade of the 34th Arty Div (US), stationed in. t1
southern sector of the #)elIu.ss Kaserne, Potsdam, from. 'Xildpark to A3 tengrabow.
It is notioeeble, hoveyer 6, thats, compared wit": 25X1
'here is no evidence, however, when these elenrfients were
ruoveo engra ow, Components of the 12th Gds Tank Div enroute to
the previous inforrriation
three troop LJ/\ I
trains went from Altengrabow to `tfildpar?k bat?ve 5X1
31. July an c . u :ss.s ~ -s, aa.n two troop trams
on 1 and 2 August 1952. 25X1
(8) The tr. s n .probably carried a. unit of the Fourth Gds Mecz Army, possibly
the 312th Gds RL Regt, el cents of which were previously at the Lieberone
troop training grounds for short=tern field practices in isaid-June 1952.
