The Amoy municipal government has taken over the private Kulanghsu (118-a4,
24-27) Girls' Middle School, which was organized from the former American-
subsidized Yute (3022/1795) and Huaijen (2037/0088) Girls' Schools. This school
has been designated as the Provincial Amoy Girls' Middle School, with CH'EN Pi-yu
(7115/38#30/3768) as its first principal.
