ITS TRANSMISSION OR REVE- LATION OF ITS CONTENTS TO OR RECEIPT NY AN UNAUTHORIZED PERSON IS THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION As of July 1952, the Kwangsi Revolutionary University, acting under orders from the Communist Party Committee for Kwangsi, planned to temporarily stop the admission of new students after the graduation of thy, Fourth Class. The order was summarized as follows: a. Out of the 6108 students in the. Fourth Class, 1700 in the Financial and Economic Department are to be assigned to duty with various cooperatives in Kwangsi after graduation; 2800 students in the departments of Military Affairs, Party and Government, and Commuhications are to receive continuous' training until their graduation in December. b. Beginning with the Fifth Class, the University will have the primary responsi- bility of educating organization (sic) and society (sic) cadres sent to it by various Kwangsi organization, factories, mines and trade unions for "thought" training. c. Also beginning with the Fifth Class, the six existing departments of the University will be consolidated into three departments. Two new departments will be added, one for industrial and mining technicians and the other for junior teachers' training. d.
