to The construction of a black powder factory has been under way at Copsa
Mica since March 1951, The plan was conceived under Soviet guidance
and is being implemented under their supervision as a rush project.
20 The ammunition factory situated two kilometers west of Plopeni near
Margineanca on the Ploesti-Slanic Railroad is being repaired and en-
larged by the addition of new blocks of buildings. This plant was ' 50X1-HUM
originally built in 1942 for the manufacture of
grenade cases. The new oc{s are officially described as T'worker?s
dwellings"
