An automotive repair shop has been established at P4inghsiang (106-44, 22.06),,
about one kilometer north of the Pinghsiang Railway.Station,, by the Transportation,
Department of the Central and South China Military Area?s Supply and Service Command.
This shop was established primarily to assist the Democratic Republic of Vietnam
(DRV) in automotive repair work. It consists of t} ?ee buildings and four poking
sheds, and employs 30 workers. The shop is continually active in repairing and
reconditioning motor vehicles for the DRV and in training DRV apprentices i; . the
technigiies of motor vehicle repair. Twelve apprentices are now receiving instrao-
tion.
