THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION DO NOT CIRCULATE Orders for Chinese Communist Discussion of Bombing of North Korean Power Plants The Chinese Communists have banned all gossip and rumors concerning the bombing of the North Korean power plants. High-ranking. Chinese Communists belieye that the American bombing was an attempt to strike a bargain for peace and silence criticism of the American Government at home. The Chinese will continue to cooperate closely with Moscow, maintain a peaceful attitude and seek a favorable cease fire. They will not be tempted into reckless action by American irritations. 10Comment. Possibly II means that the Americans honed to increase their bargaining power by the bombings.
