THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
1. The State Works for Construction of Chemical Apparatus and Machinery (Panstwowe
Zaklady Budowy Aparatow Chemicznych i Maszyn)in Nysa (Neisse-P51/H75) is.now
employing 1,500-workers in two shifts. Production consists of boilers, tanks,
hydraulic presses, condensers, and iron and non-ferrous metal castings. The
foundry is to be developed in 1952.
2? The Main PKP (Polskie Koleje Panstwowe - Polish State Railways).Locomotive
Workshops (Glowne Warsztaty Parowozowe PKP) in Gliwice M itz~ are to be
enlarged. The technical capacity of these workshops now amouni to 34 major
and 120 minor overhauls, of engines per annum. Output will be increased by 25
per cent after the completion of the extension work. The plait now employes
800 workers .
