UNEVALUATED INFORMATION 14 The headquarters of the 176 KNOJ Border Guard Battalion is located in Skopljeo The Battalion is composed-of nine companies9 four of which have headquarters in Bitolj., DJevdjelijaj, Debar and Konopiste0 The Command- ing Officer~of the Battalion is Colonel Marko Srdioa the Political Commissar is Lieutenant Colonel Dusan Pilipovio and the Chief of Staff is a certain Major Zerica, 85 KI OJ Border Ward Battalion 2 The headquarters of the 85 KNOJ Border Guard Battalion is located in Konopisteo The following units are assigned to the Battalion; ao 11 Company9 with headquarters in Majdena b o 12 Company, with headquarters in Rud.nik,, commanded by a certain Captain Jovanovioe co 13 Company., with headquarters in Huma, oor .anded by Captain Milan Gakovie o The Political eommiesar is First Lieutenant Vlado Vujaciccp and do A macchine-g^un company, attached to the Battalion headquarters. A certain First Lieutenant Mandic and Warrant Officer Drago Kujundjic are also assigned to the KOS Section? and da A certain Warrant officer Obrena Chief of the Communications Section. The men of the Battalion receive ahoit 800 grams of bread per day and about 50 grams of meat per meal four times each week. The soldiers receive 90 dinars per month. 5. The headquarters of the Battalion operates a school for telephone and telegraph operators. The school has 12 students who receive instruction eight hours per day. The course lasts 11 months. The commander of the school is Second Lieutenant Padovan Nikolicf, whose assistant is Warrant Officer 2ivota. Approximately 2Cf per cent of the soldiers of the Battalion are members of the Communist Party.
