THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
1. Concrete fortifications, believed to be bunkers or pillboxes, are under
construction about 6 kilometers from the Yugoslav border near the S torhely
state farm,. in the vicinity of Mohacs (B62).
2. Combined 'Hungarian-Soviet Army units shifted back and forth around Mohacs
near the Yugoslav border during the last half of June 1952. The purpose
of this maneuver probably was to confuse observers in regard to the location
and strength of the units.1
1Commente There might be a connection between this information and the
arrival of small Soviet military units at NyiregyMza (x55) and Nyirbator (K83),
around April 19527 which troops were thought to have moved with other Soviet
units, into the maneuver area in Western. Hungary,, near Yugoslav border,
during June 1952.
