due - to the lack of fitters in the available pumps employed there, the mine
became unworkable through flooding,

project will ever become a workable proposition.

brown coal mine in Lodz on the basis of the data obtained through the six drillings
carried out so fare The planning department of HV Kohle has requested the Polish
a1thorities to carry out at least 200 drillings more in the ? area, as this would
be the minimxm data required for the development of arq project. The geological
data based on the original six drillings shows that the lignite seams, of which
there are three at different levelsq measure a total thickness of 35 Meters.
Based on the same datap it has so Par been estimated that the totem: amount of
lignite available in the area is 600 million metric tore, and that the ratio
of surface earns to lignite equals 5g1. The mining area is a.ready known to
