THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION officers and other ranks from all the East European satellite armies were dispatched to the Far East and were appointed as observers to Korean and to Chinese units in order to gain experi- ence.. These observers were appointed to infantry, armored artillery, air force, signal, and engineer units. 2. Unconfirmed reports indicate that about five hundred Poles, five hun- dred Czechoslovaks, two hundred Hungarians, one hundred fifty Rumanians and two hundred fifty Bulgarians have been dispatched there.
