The Chinese Co u ist Volunteers Army Command has constructed two groups of
military warehouses at the foot of hills about 5 kilometers northeast of
Unsanni (126-01, 3923) (Bid-4363) which is on the railroad about 8 kilometers
east of Sunch 0 on (125-56, 39-25) (YD-5267)., North Korea. The group of hills
in which these warehouses have been built contains a peak named "Li Feng"
(Z ). A. motor road has been built from Unsan-ni to the warehouses at the
foot of the hills.
One group of?"arehouses consists of 17 buildings constructed at the foot of
the hills mentioned above. Each building is about 20 meters wide, 25 meters
long and. 15 meters high. The building is surrounded by a reinforced concrete
wall one meter thick and. it is covered with dirt and grass for camouflage.
The top of the buildings are arch shaped. They are built about 100 meters
apart. This group of warehouses is now used for the storage of general
military supplies. These buildings have been constructed so that they may
be used, if necessary,, as defensive strongholds.
The other group of warehouses consists of four eaves which have been dug into
the hills northeast of the. warehouses described above. Each one of these
caves is about 100 meters wide, 150 meters long and 15 meters high. They are
equipped with steel doors at the entrances. These caves have been. dug about
150 meters apart and motor roads have been built leading to the entrance of
each cave. These warehouses are now used for storing military weapons and
munitions
