THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION 1. Three antiaircraft batteries, equipped with early-warning devices, surround the observatory on Veliki Vracar. It appears that the guns, which were recently installed, are 88 mm. in caliber. 2. Three new apartment buildings located on Karabuxna, on the intersection of Partizanski Road and Mija Kovac.evica Street, have been requisitioned and are currently used to quarter consecutive groups of men in the military reserve from the Banat who are in Belgrade for a period of two months1training. Each building contains 42 two-room apartments. 3. A new militia command headquarters is under construction near the Dunav railroad station at 29 November Street. The compound will cover the entire block which is bordered by the Orecka, Vatrosava Lisinskog, and Jovana Avakumovica Streets, In addition to offices for the staff headquarters and private quarters, the building will contain a mess hall and a motion-picture theater. Five hundred convicts are being employed in the construction work. , A new KNOW headquarters command is currently being built by the army on the corner of Skadarska and 29 November Streets, on the same block where the French Church and Politika press office are located. - A new building to house the Yugoslav Ministry of Interior is under construction on Kneza Milosa Street, between Durmitorska and Visegradska Streets. The building is being built by convicts, and will be six stories high. 6. KNOJ barracks and the military prison are located in Palilula, where the guard battalion was formerly housed.
