THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
a.m Prior to 1 May 1951, all district tobacco directorates were responsible
to the Tobacco Directorate in Belgrade. Since that date, however, they
have been placed under the jurisdiction of the Central Directorate for
War Invalids' Economy of the respective republics' Committee for War in-
valids, which in turn is responsible to the Central Directorate of the
Yugoslav Central Committee for the Union of War Invalids in Belgrade.
"a The Central Directorate for War Invalids' Economy of the individual re-
publics purchases tobacco from eight different factories located in Banja
Luna, Ljubljana, Zagreb, Zadar, Sarajevo, Ravinj, Nis, and Skopije.
The Central Directorate for War Invalids' Economy for the republic of
Croatia is located in Zagreb and is under the management of Dinko Kuzmanic,
who was formerly director of the Tobacco Directorate in Belgrade. The

at which time only minor policy decisions are made, such as reorganization
of we rehouse,; where to purchase office equip lent; and so forth. The UDB
usufy employs tobacco salesmen and warehouse keepers as a means of sw-
