Only the minesweeperal remain in the Nerft;

Although apparently completed and ready for sea, this vessel is still in the
Werft. She is expected to leave in September.
3. S.S ^KURO3
This vessel is now finished and is expected to leave in September.
4. Cable Ship ERUSTAN*
This vessel departed for an unknown destination in late August. She is not
expected to return.
S.S. SAAR
After being towed into the Werft area on 18 August 1951, this vessel was left
in an anchorage just inside the Werft basin. No repair work has yet been
started on board but her pumps have been kept in operation in order to keep
her afloat.
6. S.S. VAGA
This vessel left for Wismar in late August. She has not returned.
T6 S.S. VICHEGDA
This vessel, apparently a sister ship of the-VAGA , arrived from Wismar at
the iVerft shortly after the VAGA left Rostock. She was immediately put into
the floating dock and repair work is under way on her keel. The-main shaft
is being dismantled.

Location of new hulk
During the reporting. period a hulk was found by a salvage team from Rostock.
The hulk is believed to be some 120 meters long and is at the moment in about
21 meters (etc) of watero The salvage team has placed a green buoy in the
water to mark the position of the wreck. The exact position is as follows:

No salvage. work has, as yet, commenced.
25X1 Although this vessel is known in the Werft as SAAR, it is believed
a e ormer German warship SAAR was. transferred to French registry ,=d. 3s
now known as GUSTAVE ZEDS under the French flag.
