1, An 5CC order to Section II of the Berlin General Post Office administration,
which was examined by source., referred to a conference held between Soviet Gds
Colonel Storkov (fnu) and one I:Ir. Looscher (fnu)., on 18 August 1951, and
demanded the reconditioning or reconstruction of tho cable system of the former
Gorman air warning net, The order specified all cable sections still available
and stated that these wore to be reclakaed whale new cable sections required for
the net, ordered by the ;CC, were to be furnished by the SAG Isabel, cable plant in
Koepenicka
2, According to the SCC order, the Soviet Zone Postal Administration was to initiate a
second phase of the cable-construction project, providing for the imbedding of
three,pairs of cables convey g at Berlin-Kaxlshorat (N 53/Z 9L1.) from Rostock
(N 5510 81), Schwerin (L: 54/T16) and Perleberg (U 54/T 70); and three other pairs
of cables converging at Jueterbo, (N 52/E 69) from Torgau (1) 52/E 64), Zwickau
(N 51/K 34) and I3orna (N 52/K 39), These six pairs of cable lines were to run
different ways, instead of lying side by side, and 'were to be completed by 15
December 1951,
