1. The "Tempo" Military Construction Enterprise in Zagreb, which is under the
control and supervision of the General Directorate of the Ships Boller
Industry, is reported to be erecting a large, new factory in Samobor,l
near Zagreb. This now factory will allegedly produce diesel engines for
the Yugoslav Navy and will be called the Vladimir B.caric Diesel lkgine
Factory. According to source, as soon as the new factory has been com-
pleted, the diesel engine construction department at the A1eksander Raul-
-vie Factory in Rijeka will be transferred to the factory in Samobor.
2. The Director of the Vladimir Bakaric Diesel Igins_Factory-mil reportedly be
Colonel Zlatko Kerekovic, a former cavalry officer and U'stasha officer
in Croatia during World War IX. Kerekovic is allegedly an opportunist, of
no particular political affiliation. The Commercial'Director will reportedly
be a former officer named Bozo Cubrikovic, who had served with Yugoslav
mountain troops.
