The dissatisfaction of the Bulgarian people with the current regime and
Soviet exploitation has becorz more openly and publicly manifest in 'recent
times.
2. In the Rila Planina, organized armed underground units currently are
active. Other resistance movements in the country make use of posters
and leaflets to harass. the regime. In the past month there was: extensive
activity of this type in Bryagovo villagelin the Kula district. Because;
of the posters and leaflets, which demanded an end to the persecution of
peaceful people, many peasants were arrested. Nothing could be learned
from them although confessions were extorted.
