The S.S. 3 bD OCTU.SDR, a (reek-owned ship of Panamanian ro istry, which had been surrendered to the Soviets several months awo by its crew, was in Constants harbor in September 1951. The ship had been converted into a floating' fish cannery and turned over to the Rt Yian Republic. 25X1X 2c the crew, lamely 'reek nationals;, had been imprisoned in Constants prison for attenptingg? to seize control of the ship while in Turkish waivers and b rin- it back to ^reeoe. The attempt was radioed to Rumaniax: authorities by the First and Second Eno-ineers of the ship. Rumanian Air Force planes flow to the scene and ordered the crew to brim the ship to Constanta. 3.
