1. Until recently, the production plan provided for the production of mirrors
for carbon are lamps with diameters of 30 and 60 cm at the VI B.Rathenowor ,
Optische Uferke (WB Optik). Experiments have shoeq however, that such mirrors
can be blown in other factories and the firm hn.s :been told to turn its main
effort to the ? nui:acture of microscopes ani prism glasses. However,, . since
this was not included in the plan, the factory lacks all the necessary material.
There appears to be no chance in the immediate future of obtaining it. The
concern hones to obtain the microscopes from the Korth*firm in Berlin and to
manufn.cture the optical elements itself?
