A unit under Tr1711 Tei-min (1 48 ) has been formed as the h Sub-Column.
The .2 and 3 rub-Columns and the Independent Battalion under TttO T'ieh-fenp,
LI Yao and TU I- Ian have been combined to the 2 rub-Column urder YU I-far-
The 5 C,ub-Column and a unit under LIN Cho-hua (4k 4.. lk ) have been combined
into the 3 rub-Column with LTN Cho-hua as commnnder.
Ae of 26 July, the column was composed of L?509 men, eouip:ed with 7
merlons, 15 heavy machine guns, 17 light machine, ,elne, 3,779 riler,
pistols, 13 gr-:nade launchers, nne 575 hand rrenndes. The column is
training its m!litary and oolitical staffs in small group meetines.
