The central office of the Comznissione Assistenza Roduci e Soldati (CA.RS; Commission for the Aid of Soldiers and Veterans), under the direction of the Italian Communist Party, has ordered the establishment of Party schools for Italian soldiers, 2. CARS made this decision after many requests by young activists who did not wish to lose contaeLi with their Sections and schools during their service in the armed forces. 3o The courses are restricted. special teaching aids are used to supple- ment the standardized "Stalin and Gramsci" courses,, The instructors of these shcools are generally not civilian. teachers but political heads or agitation-propaganda members of the Sections, 4. Soldiers from the barracks are divided into groups according to their political preparation,, Each group then attends different lessons. Generally, the lessons are held at the headquarters of the Section. 5. In Rome,, there are Party schools for soldiers in the following Sections: a. Centocelle - 7 members b. Esqu3lino -A 10 members Co Macao - 6 members other schools are in the process of being established, 6. 'According to the orders of the Federation, the Sections nearest to the military units must give the greatest aid to the Communist soldiers in this capacity.
