OF PAGES No, OF ENCLS, (LISTED BEL(W) NOV30 5/ SUPPLEMENT TO REPORT NO, 24/7 25X1X 1. During July 1951, the folleming Soviet naval vessels were observed: a. The battleship Olelabrakza RevoIyutsiaa in the roads at Kronstadto recently painted and to all appearances-in good ccndition. b, The battleship Petrapktylovs? alongside the central pier in Kronstadts commercial harbor, partially concealed by the SS Admiral klakhimov. The fighting top (sic) and the forward stack had been removed, and the after stack and control tower were in place. The ship was newly painted and seemed to be floating trimly. c. The cruiser Sverdlov was at anchor near the Leningrad lightship. The ship seemed to be coOpletely equipped, and target remactice with the main battery was in progress. 2. Two cruisers mere observed in the Baltieki Zavod ahipyard. Each had two large raked stacks with slanting tops. The ships were partially gmy? and partially red-leaded, Their superstructures were encased in scaffolding and the details could not be made out. From a general impression, the ships are approaching completion. 3. A torpedo cruiser (sic) was seen in the so;:eh bay at rartl ygd. It had a bridge resembling that of the destroyer 3toRk.holm /Tmedish 0 The hOlkLeeee deckline was unbroken. It seemed to be A newly built vessel. 40 A torpedo cruiser of the same type as above with its hull red-leaded? and almost fully completed, was at the southern 4uay of the Zhdanov yard. Alongside the eastern transverse luay eere two largo destroyers or torpedo cruisers, smaller than that at the southern auay and with their decklines broken by a tomer as in the case of the Z-33*. They had to stacks raked aft?mith slanting caps, and with a long distance between them, The guns seemed to be mounted in the same manner as on the Z-33. The ships were generally similar to the E-33. They were painted gray and carried no flags. 5. The Komsomoletl and a ship resembling the 1.1r2a1 were in the bay at L'eningred.
