1. On 30 October 1951, Giovanna Boccalini Barcellona departed for Venice
to lead a group of 19 Women from the Unione Donne Italian (UDI; Italian
Women's Union) and the Associazione Nazionale Partigiani d'Italia (ANPI;
National Association of Italian Partisans) as a delegation to the Soviet
Union departing from Italy on 1 November 1951. The group is allegedly
attending a course on "14arxist politico-ideological formation,"
20 On 26 October 1951, a dolegation frori the Italia.-USSR association left
Italy to attend the October A" volution celebrations held in Hoscow.
Italian Communist Party Deputy Mario Alieata headed the delegation,
