1. Iapromet (Institut de Proiectari Metalioe Institute of P, Metallurgical Design)
is a part of the Ministry of Metallurgy and Chemical Industries. The M2
Section ("U" standing for "Metallurgy") is located at Calea VictorieI.,
Bucharest, near the Rational Theatre, in the block formerly occupied by the
Adriatica Company. This is not within the complex of the Ministry itself.
2. About 30 persons are employed by the TA2 Section, including 8 or 9 engineers,
Each engineer normally has two draughtsmen to reproduce his designs. The
drawing equipment used is of Czech manufacture; it is automatic (sic) and
3, two of the projects undertaken by the M2 Section:
a. The designing of a "now lathe".
b. The designing of an extension for the electric power plant of the Vulcan
works in Bucharest.
