1. In 1951 the villages of Budimirci, Zovic, Starovina, Gradecn;ca and Cruniste
were organized into the Community of Starovin a. Dimitar Xrovic was
appointed Chairman of the Community Council, and Jovan Bandev was named
Secretary.
2. Each of these villages in the Community of. Starovina was forced to establish
a collective. Gruniste, a village inhabited by only 45 families, had a
collective which was managed by a certain Alekso Bizerikovie. The Gruniste
collective had approximately 1,400 sheep.1
3. The Political Secretary of the local Conn unitt Party Committee was a certain
Stojko s?is' ev.
4. Gruniste has an Orthodox 0,hurch,2 but has no priest to hold services. A
priest by the name of Todar from the village of Gradeenica went to Gruniste
to hold Faster services in 1951; however, he was arrested and imprisoned
for seven days by the local Communist authorities.
5. Unidentified I:IIOJ border units were stationed in the villages of Skocivir
and Starovina.
