1. In September 1950, the manufacsture of tanks similar to the German "Tiger" type
was. begun in the Skoda Works at Hradec Kralove (O51/G71). Compared with the
Osman Tiger tank the Czech model is heavier, lower and broader. About three
to four units are manufactured per meek, but the production is to be doubled
in the near future. This plant also manufactures anti-personnel and anti-tank
mines, hand grenades and 100-mm shrapnel shells. The production of Skoda
pistols, originally carried out in this plant,, has been transferred to the
armament.plant in Strakonice (N 0/Q49).
