5 a W ~ so-called Stalin Strategic Road Is to be built to the Hung< rian frontier

the Hungarian frontier at Berog-.i (F27). It will be built through
Vararosr ntiy (106), crossing the river Tisza near Balsa, and through Keneziti
(r :48 ), 03a.szIirnszka (X38), Szerenes, to 11iskoic. Pnother line is scheduled
lnta-t from Cho to Satcwaljaujhely, and from Satoraljaujhely* to Olaszilszkra,
joining the Stalin S r ategic Road,;
6. The section of the road between Olaszlinszx and Szerenes is already under con-,
strructiona The road-construction office is located in the mill at Olaszl.i.szkka..
The new road will be a double-layer concrete road 8 meters wide (made up of
sections 4..: 10 meters). 2,500 to 3,000 workers are employed on this project
and the number is increasing. A number of deportees -re included in this f.igur.
The road is a continuation of the concrete road built from Lierehovo via Vas? rro1z
