The first four of a new lightweight, mobile type of hoist designated as the "D-350" have recently been constructed by the Sil' Enterprise in Croatia. These four hoists have been delivered to different construction enterprises, one of them to the 3 flay Enterprise in Rijelca.. Two other construction enterprises, namely, the "Novogradnja" and the "Zat" aided in the building of certain parts of these first four hoists, in accordance with directives from the Bureau for Promotion of Construction in the General Directorate for Construction of Croatia. Following successful tests and trials of the "D-350" hoist, serial production has been started. Plans for factory production of the "D_350" hoist were completed by senior industrial technic: %n -Emig. Janovski. 2, The "D-350" hoist is capable of lifting a 350 kilogram load at each. operation, operating at a speed of 0.50 in. per second. This hoist can lift one ton of material in about 20 minutes. 3. The "D--350" hoist is composed of three main parts: a mobile trestle or flat car, a lower mobile part equipped with a reel, a 3.5 kilowatt electric motor capable of 930 revolutions per minute, and an upper part equipped with a mast for lifting a load. Provision is r.~ade so that in the event of damage to the electric motor, the motor reel may be hand operated for lifting and lowering of the load. The upper and lower parts of the hoist are capablecC swinging outaad back in a complete circumference. The hoist is simple to operate and is considered very practical for lifting and lowering concrete in the construction of pillars.
