l . A neeting of the Communist Strategic I'ateriaals Committee was held in
Calcutta, India, in early May 1951.1 The Committee, composed of Communist
renre henta+ives from China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Burma, Thailand and India,
is directed by the Chinese Communist Ambassador to Indonesia, WANG Jen-ohu;
the Chinese Communist Ambassador to Burma, YAU Chung mi.ng; and the head
o-P the Asiatic Affairs Section of the Chinese Communist HJ n?Istry of Foreign
Affaair,:i, ST!TN .Jui-helen.

currently in India; a Pan Asiatic News Alliance, Yong Kong, states
that seventeen Peiping Government Trade offiicials arrived in Hong
Kong 1 June en route to New Delhi to strengthen the Chinese Trade
Agency.
