1. On 18 ray 1c;51, there was a erect deal of vehicular traffic on the road from
Ziena to he ammunition depot at Torgau. An ammunition train of 52 ears
etood at the Torgau railroad station, headed toward the ammunition depot0
depot was heavily puarded by a German Volkspolizei unit which was quart
ed in a hotment outside the depot area. *

The exterior of the depot was Luardod by a German. Volkspolizei unit of about
130 police who were comuanded by VP Rat Steinbrecher, (fnu). VP Oberkommissar
Troeur? (Thu), was the PK office, of the unit. The pflice were quartered in
