In the middle of July 1951 Soviet soldier,- and Hungarian officers inspected
dwellings in Mo. cs bich rest servo as quarters for troops ? In this
connection, it is observed that Soviet troops are now serving with the AVH
as guards along the Hungarian-Yugoslav border south and west of Idoh cs; the
number of Russians is uncertain., since the Hungarian uniforms are now so
s.ieLlar to Soviet uniSoraue.
An AVH inspector at. Koanfroua alleges that 28,000 Russian troops are stationed
in that, city. They occupy four large barracks, including the bnostor
Barracks,, which was used as an underground amanition dump in 1945 and 196,
and was reoccupied by the Soviet ,Array the spring of 1951
A tent camp has been erected since iay 1951 south of Tolna, (fir' 10), on the
