1. Collaboration with the "nationalist forces", the Movimento Sociale Itaiano
(ASSI; Italian Social Movement) and the Partito Nazionale Monarchico (PR 4;
National Monarchist Party), is advocated within the Christian Democratic
Party only by the Right wing and notably by its leaders, Senat Stefano
Jacini, Deputy Stefano Reggio d'Aci1, Deputy Carmine De Martino, and
Deputy Camillo Corsanegol. These four individuals are reportedly the
principal exponents of the initiative recently carried out within the
Christian Democratic Party to achieve a collaboration between their Party
and Parties of the Right. It is alleged that these rien were promised the
support of Vice-Prerier Attilio Piccioni and of the Christian Democratic
group headed by Senator Umberto Tupini and Deputy Giorgio Tupini.
2. The Right wing has of late carried out considerable activity to cause
Deputy Guido Gc.Inella to the relieved of his post as Political Secretary of
the Christian Democratic Party and have this office entrusted to Umberto
Tupini.
3. The left currents of the Christian Democratic Party are openly opposed to
any compromise faith Rightist forces not only the PNM and the MSI, but
also tlb Partito Liberale Italiano (PLI; Italian Liberal Party).
