link connecting; the Cegled-Szclnok and Cegled-Kecckemet railroad lines was
completed Just east of Ce'led in early January 1951. This link rakes it possible
for trains coming from the direction of Kecsl:enet to proceed ?1ireotly to Szol-
nok without stopping at the C glei railroad stations where they previously
had to be reversed.* .

The important Szolnok-Debrecen line and the Czeged-Belgrade
and or Teneevar ( r..ia) railroad lines branch off at Cegled. The new rail.
link facilitates railroad operations by accelerating the bypassing of +Cegled.
